Tryout Tip 40: Jumps: Get a spotter

[Jump Score Tip:] Get a spotter to help you with your jumps. Have someone hold your waist and lift while you practice jumping.

Why do this? This is a good practicing technique to help you with your jumps. It will allow the jumper to concentrate more on his/her jump rather than having to worry as much about the landing.

Next Tip: Jumps: Help with stretching.
